I needed a moment to remind myself of my freedom of expression:
Red was flushed with anger, full of danger,
Red is passion though tender, celebratory candour.
Blue was a downswing of mood, a feeling of dread that time couldn't stood,
Blue is calm cool, like the sea breeze and the birds that flew.
Yellow was mustard yucky, and also disgustingly murky,
Yellow is Mr. Smiley, and deliciously golden honey.
Purple was complexity hard to comprehend,
Purple is sophistication, oh so glam.
Pink was cheap, slutty, everything bad,
Pink is cute, sweet, reminds of the expensive Barbie fad.
White was plain walls which hinted a lack of creativity,
White is beautiful love which speaks of purity.
Black was hatred, totally unaccepted,
Black is universal, your wardrobe's staple diet.
Colours were taken for granted,
Colours are embraced for their meanings, though not fully deciphered.
