Recipe for Dark Chocolate Cup Cakes (makes 15)
Ingredients:
125g Self-raising flour
125g Butter( normal type will do)
125g sugar (fine)
2 tsp vanilla essence
4 tbsp milk (i used the meiji fresh milk)
2 eggs
3 tsp cocoa powder
100g dark choc melted (I always prefer Lindt dark choc, although they are more expensive)
Icing: 125g butter
125g icing sugar
food colouring (pink would be nice, but i didnt use any)
These ingredients can be bought in all leading supermarkets...duh.
1. Melt the dark chocolate. From Ms Lai Yoke Yee's baking book, Mrs Oliver has learnt that chocolate cannot come into direct contact with fire, otherwise will chao tah. Place a bowl of choc on a metal stand first. (Aiyah, something like a short retort stand)
2. Cream the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add eggs, flour, milk, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and vanilla essence. Beat until they look something like this:
Best if you get the pro to do the job:
4. Spoon into cupcake cups (2/3 full)
5. Bake for 15 mins at 200 degree Celsius.
6. Mix butter and icing sugar in a large mixing bowl for the icing. Add food colouring(optional)
7. Leave cupcakes to cool. After cooling, pipe icing on top.
Voila!

Recipe for Creamy Potato Gratin (Serves 3-4)
Ingredients:
750g potatoes (about 7-8)
1 onion(optional)
125g grated Cheddar Cheese
375ml cream
2 teaspoon chicken stock powder (we used the granule form)
1. Peel potato skin(pose recommended for best effect)
Actually, Mrs Jamie Oliver prefers them raw.
Women prefer to be meticulous and weigh the ingredients one by one.
2. Cut the potato into thin slices. Beware of hands.
Should end up like this:
3. Layer potato on baking dish. After one layer, layer onion slices on top if preferred. Divide the cheese into half, save one half for the topping. Use the other half as a layer over the potato and onion slices. Keep layering until it looks like this:
4. Whisk the cream and chicken stock powder in a mixing bowl. Pour over the layers. (I would advise against this, could skip this step, since the result was a stomach-turning layer of disgusting oil)
Cream
chicken stock
ooh
5. Sprinkle the last half of the cheese as topping.
6. Bake in oven for 40 mins at 180 degree Celsius.
Big big one
small small one
Voila once again!
